Professor Mils H. is a distinguished behavioural scientist and educator, widely recognised for pioneering the application of behavioural science within domains such as artificial intelligence, cyber security, strategic communication, and national resilience. With a career spanning over two decades, he has held pivotal roles within the UK Cabinet Office, Ministry of Defence, NATO, the Bank of England, and other high-level institutions, making critical contributions to national and organisational preparedness, decision-making, and capability development.

Professor H. was the first behavioural scientist to serve in the UK’s information warfare domain, bringing anthropological insight and human-centred strategy to complex, high-stakes environments. His research and advisory work has shaped operational frameworks across defence, government, and industry, including elite performance sectors such as intelligence, finance, and advanced engineering. His academic appointments have included professorships and teaching fellowships at leading UK institutions, where he has taught and supervised across strategic management, human factors, leadership, and user research.
